Hunter Business Centre

The Hunter Business Centre is a not-for-profit, business assistance organisation which is owned and supported by the local community and funded by both State and Commonwealth Governments.

The Hunter Business Centre is overseen by a board of directors and is a member of the Business Enterprise Centre National Network. The Hunter Business Centre is a professional service provider, catering to micro, small and medium businesses and has delivered Business Assistance services as its core activity for over 20 years. The organisation has been a significant factor in the success of many start up and fledgling enterprises in the Hunter. The Centre has a clear understanding of business in the Hunter Region. We foster and sustain relationships with business organisations to maximise opportunities for those serviced through the Hunter Business Centre.

The Hunter Business Centre is extremely client focused. Dedicated Staff continually re-assess the products and services delivered to clients to stay abreast of business demands, government compliance and topical business concerns. We support the Hunter Regions business community from our centrally located premises in the heart of the Newcastle Business District. The centre is fully equipped with well appointed training rooms and provides a Small Business Incubator with 19 serviced offices for lease.

As a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework, the Hunter Business Centre is registered to deliver training, conduct assessment and issue qualifications. Our main training program is the Certificate IV in Small Business Management.
